I think that sometimes the plot and story can be a bit predictable but it still definitely fits the genre and includes a lot of basic suspense and mystery great for a younger audience but I feel that sometimes it is lacking in depthHowever it still has a very decent storyline which I do like I think I'd prefer a book with a little complexity in future Overall a good read and I'd happily read another book in the seriesI'd recommend this book to young readers because of the simplicity and exciting storyline but based on my personal tastes I wouldn't give this book the highest ratingTheodore G evidence that kept a guilty man off of the streets Hot off this high profile murder trial thirteen year old Theo is still dispensing legal advice to friends. Theodore's friend disappears he does all he can to find her This leads to some clashes with the authorities including his parents the police He handles these situations well in a very adult fashion Grisham shows the reasons IOW the story has some good lessons wrapped into an interesting mystery story Pretty close to perfect for younger teensThere's some setup repetition from the first book a bit tough to take since this is such a short book but it does mean they can easily be read in any order Interesting characters that are well drawn for this sort of story Theodore learns a few lessons along the way Definitely recommended for the younger crowd Very well narrated by John Boy Walton too

The AbductionAnd teachers But just when it seems as if his life has calmed down and gone back to the status uo a new legal mystery comes to town and this time it's person. Solid mystery for juvenile readers from John Grisham As this book features juvenile side of Theo than the previous book the adult part of me wasn’t attracted to this book as much but I give you this book had its own intrigues mysteries thrills and tension that surely entertains a wide range of readers The character dynamics among Theo’s family is well showcased and depicted in this book as well and I have a feeling the one between Theo and Ike would be a recurring theme in this series It is interesting to see how Ike turns out the one whom Theo either ultimately relays on or who offers some enlightening advice to Theo While the relationship among Ike and Theo’s parents might not be a very amiable one I must say it is the thing that makes this book glorious and engaging Although the wrap up of the mystery regarding the “abduction” didn’t particularly suffice to uench my mystery rush once again it has its own intrigues and red herrings that held my interest long enough The ending felt as rushed as the previous book which I didn’t appreciate all in all I enjoyed The Abduction and I have no plans to uit this series Theo has grown on me so much and I’m curious to see how he keeps solving mysteries that come his way
