Hunted from the tiny island of St Gideon all the way to Miami Chloe and Jack desperately search for the evidence that will prove their innocence and eliminate them as targets of the shadowy conspiracy that will stop at nothing to make its problems go awa DL Wood perfectly blends together mystery and suspense with just the right amount of romance and spirituality The book never ventures into the over the top romance that is not believable; instead she paints a picture of two broken people attracted to each other that realistically draw towards each other throughout the book As far as the spirituality of the book DL Wood never gets preachy; instead she gives us realistic conversations that many of us have had at one point or other in our lives And while Unintended Target gives us both romance and spirituality it is at its core an edge of your seat thriller where you like and root for the main characters You will enjoy the mystery as well as the settingslocations of the novel I will admit though that was one thing I did not find believablethat this was DL Wood's first novel I eagerly await the next book from this up and coming writerCheck out other reviews here

kindle Ê Unintended #1 Ý D.L. Wood

But the illusion is shattered when a series of bizarre incidents leaves them framed for murder and running from killers convinced that Chloe is the key to uestions Tate left behind Suddenly Jack’s timely entrance into her life seems than coincidental but with nowhere else to turn Chloe must trust this man who is not only charming but also dangerous and much better at evading capture than he should be Strained to the breaking point by a life con Excellent read Finished uickly too I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up but I really enjoyed it While it's a Christian book I didn't find it preachy The romance portion was well done but I especially enjoyed the thriller aspect All the plot twists made plenty of sense and I didn't find myself wondering Where did that come from? Clearly Wood is well familiar with storytelling and I'm looking forward to seeing books in the future
